Gabrielle is a teenage albino romani girl. She has lived in Venice for quite some time, and is rather known among the less well off. Gabrielle is a dancer and an illusionist, among other things. She has knowledge about herbal healing, and thus, the poor call for her when they get sick.

Looks:
Gabrielle is albino, and as such, her hair is pure white, as are her eyebrows. Her skin is extremely light, and her eyes, depending on the lighting, can look either pale blue, white, pink or violet. Gabrielle is Romani, thus her facial features are those of a Rom; large eyes, marked cheekbones, rather thick lips, and generally her face is somewhat childish with her plump cheeks and round basic shape. She has a fringe, and the rest of her hair is quite long and thick. Most of the time she wears it down, but the hair at her nape is on two braids tied with strips of leather, and sometimes she has small braids with beads and shells and other small items in her hair.
Gabrielle loves colours, and most of the time her clothes are very colourful. She usually wears either red or green shirts and skirts with different coloured scarfs. Her shoes are usually flats. Two of her favourite pieces of clothing are a shawl and gloves, both violet.
She likes to wear excessive jewellery, oftentimes ornamental metal pieces, necklaces of wooden beads and semiprecious stones in leather strings.
Gabrielle's eyes are very light-sensitive, so on sunny days she wears bonnets. She also usually has most of her skin covered by some sort of fabric, because she never tans - she burns. Easily.

Personality:
Gabrielle is a sensible happy-go-lucky personality, very practical and knowledgeable about many things. She does not make a big number of her knowledge, though, and prefers to be an observer than the center of attention. She is logical, and usually takes some time to examine things before funning into adventures. She is very used to the paranormal and supernatural, and is not easily surprised by anything.
Gabrielle is also very confident and self-sacrificing, wanting to help other as best as she can. Being unsure about things bothers her a lot, seeing as she is very used to knowing things before they happen (precognition).

Past:
Not much is actually known about Gabrielle's past. Her parents were Romani, and she has not been in contact with them for quite a while. It appears she has lived in Venice, or at least in Italy, most of her life, seeing as the only languages she is able to speak are Italian, Venetian and Sinte Romani (and around ten words of English and French each). Currently she lives in a small two-storey house in a rather poor area, renting the upper floor to a thief called Renard.

Because her eyes are so sensitive, she has learned to echolocate, which in the dark streets of Venice has proven to be rather useful.

Relationships:

James is a man Gabrielle fortunately found in the desert where they had been thrown. The two could be described as friends-of-practicality. The language barrier between the two is quite severe, but despite of this, they have managed to get along quite well.
