Eloise Godfrey (Violet)

Name: Eloise Godfrey (Violet)
Nicknames: Violet, Vicious Violet
Gender: Female
Birthday and age: 19, December 18th, 1921
Homeplace: She was born in a small town just north of Whitehaven.
Social status: Working class-child
History: Eloise was born a cold December night, then wrapped in a blanket and put crying in a small wooden bed next to her older siblings. Her family was catholics, and had therefore 8 children before Eloise. She grew up under hard premises and started working as a 7 year-old. The only thing she ever liked in the house where she lived, was her mother's mirror in the parent's room. It was a tall mirror leaning on the wall - It had a beautiful wooden frame - A little worn and splintered, but beautiful. She used to sneak in there once in a while and talk with her reflection. Years went and she fell in love with the reflection. It was a whole other world from her own. She believed that her reflection was a girl named Violet. Violet was rough and strong - She knew how to do everything herself, and was very independent. All the things Eloise had never been. One day, on Eloise's 19th birthday, she got up early and snuck downstairs, and into her parent's bedroom. She was quiet as a mouse, and stood in front of the mirror. There she wispered: "If only I could be in your world, Violet."
Violet had taken her hand and pulled her through the glass, into herself, and into the old Asylum.
From that day Eloise was Vicious Violet - She explored the world of Luniere, and now lives there .. inside the mirror.
Personality: Violet is a strong and independent girl. She does most things herself, and is always happy to help others out - Is it manual labor or a planning a genius plan. She laughs at most scary things, but when encountered with her past, she trembles and becomes shy, scared Eloise. Then she is very vulnerable and weak.
Appearance: Violet has a rather rough and wild apperance. She is short and upon her head is a nest of blonde and blue hair. She have dyed it many times, with her own dye made of the early leaves of woad. Her body is strong, and you can see that she is used to use her muscles. She makes all off her own clothing - It looks like a mixture of gypsy-clothing and -jewellery and classic victorian dresses. Her eyes are iron-grey, and you can sense the strength in her glare. Her voice is straight-forward and can sometime sound a little harsh and demanding.

We hope you shall feel as welcome as we wish to make you feel.
Your character is approved, and if you wish, you may ask any of the other players to start a game with you. I am certain everybody would be more than happy to play.
If you would like to share any ideas about possible places for Luniere, and any other ideas, feel free to contribute in the Plots and plans -section. We would be glad to receive new ideas and make Down the Rathole look more like its players - did you know, that Luniere goes through changes every time a being there is born, dies, or enters the realm? We wish this RPG to be be similar.
